Description

Do-It-Yourself Garden Beds

  • ANCHOR JOINTS - serve as the foundation joints that are secured to the ground below
  • STACKING JOINTS - used to create multi-level beds by attaching to the top of anchor joints or other stacking joints
  • Versatile joints can function as multi-angle corners OR straight extenders
  • Single level beds are 5 1/2" high, double are 11" high, and triple levels are 16 1/2" high
  • Brackets securely hold standard 2 x 6" lumber (wood, plastic, or composite)
  • Swivel hinges can form any angle from 60 to 180 degrees for endless permutations
  • An AFFORDABLE solution for large garden projects, community gardens or schools
  • Comes complete with stakes, hinged brackets, caps, and fastening screws (NO BOARDS)

General Raised Garden Bed Benefits

  • More crop production per square foot because less wasted space between rows
  • Avoids soil compaction caused by feet or wheelbarrows
  • Improves drainage
  • Easier to plant, weed, water, cultivate and harvest
  • Poultry wire or hardware cloth may be added to bottom of bed to discourage burrowing rodents
  • Bed levels are open to the ground below, and do not have bottoms
  • To save on costs, the Stacking Anchors may also be used in place of the bottom Anchor Joints
  • Anchor joints have longer stakes and are useful for improving the overall structural integrity of your bed, especially concerning resistance to frost heaves
  • Other uses include:  sandboxes, play areas, borders, and holding pens for small pets
  • The versatility of angles and levels gives gardeners the ability to expand in any direction with unlimited design opportunities
  • Joints may be stacked vertically up to (and including) 6 levels high

Composite Plastic Timbers

Made of a specially developed combination of 80% polypropylene and 20% wood flour, they won't rot or splinter and will last and last and last. Each timber board is a standard 2 x 6" size and 44.5" long which creates a 4 foot span from joint to joint. Color is brown (see images above).
