Easy Set-Up

Hidden boundary wires that are easily detected by RoboMower are placed at your lawn's borders and around yard obstacles like trees and planters. Once the boundary wiring is set up and connected to the battery operated perimeter switch, there is very little maintenance or supervision required. The RoboMower zigzags back and forth within the perimeter wire boundaries, and will not stray into the street or neighbors yard. The 24-volt battery pack requires 20 hour charging time before use.

Safe and Well Trained

The onboard computer-guidance system allows RoboMower to negotiate and mow around obstacles - without your help. Multiple sensors and touch-sensitive bumpers prevent the mower from colliding with or driving over objects in your yard. And because it mows it a triangular pattern from many different directions, it will cut lawns of virtually any geometric shape. Because the mower blades cut .6" beyond the wheels, it will effectively trims lawn edges, while avoiding flower beds, trees and other obstacles.

Depending on environmental factors like humidity, slope, and grass height, a fully-charged Robomow will typically cut a lawn area of 5400 sq.ft. per charge. The motor stops automatically if the unit is lifted up or tilted in excess of 20� from the horizontal. It even has an emergency stop button. The Robomow comes with a hand-control unit with LCD screen that plugs directly into the mower for manual guidance and touch-up mowing. When the manual controller is not practical to use, the mower may also be moved using the tow switches built in to the front of the mower (even if the batteries run out, enough power is kept in reserve to drive the mower to the recharging area). Interface includes an LCD display panel with easy to use menus.

Enviromentally-Friendly

The RoboMower is relatively quiet, when compared to traditional, nerve-wrenching mowers. The operational noise level is less than 85-90 db - hardly an impact on noise pollution in your community. Because of its whisper-quiet motor, you can mow virtually anytime - day or night - without bothering your work-at-home neighbors or local insomniacs.

Because the RoboMower is electric, you never have to deal smelly gas or messy oil. As with all zero-emission devices, there are no toxic fume clouds produced to annoy your friends next door or contribute to atmospheric pollution. The RoboMower is classified as a mulching mower, so you won't have to spend time cleaning up grass piles, since the finely shredded clippings are returned back into the lawn as a natural fertilizer. This also extends the time between fertilizer applications and reduces toxic runoff, saving you further time and money while helping the local waterways.
